DANCE EXPRESS
Dance Express has always been my second home. Even when I left for college, I chose to continue teaching dance as a part time job.
When I began my Graphic Design education at MSU, Mankato, my boss, Mitzi Roberts was the first person to offer me real world work.

She gave me lots of opportunities and experiences that have shaped me as a designer. I am currently still doing design and marketing work for the dance studio, but I wanted to showcase just a few of my favorite projects.

TUTU RUN

The Tutu Run is 2.2 mile run/walk (get it?!) which is a family friendly event to celebrate with those who are fighting and surviving breast cancer. The Tutu Run fundraiser directly benefits the Angels of Breast Cancer organization.
I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to develop the Tutu Run's design from the bottom up. One goal I had was to make the brands identity as gender neutral as possible. The main color needed to be pink to represent breast cancer, but could still achieve this through the chosen font.

Along with the Tutu Run's logo and marketing materials, I also got to shoot the photography at the event. I would not consider myself a professional photographer by any means, but I enjoy learning by experience. I find it fun!

IMPACT DANCE COMPETITION

Impact Dance Competition is a new competition focused on providing studio owners, teachers, dancers, parents, and supporters with a weekend experience filled with powerful performances, inspirational feedback, educational workshops and the opportunity to connect with a cutting-edge dance community.

Impact is growing every year and has now expanded to multiple cities. I am blessed to have the opportunity to grow with Impact by helping with their marketing, programs, backstage photography, and more!

CINDRA KAMPHOFF

I feel so lucky to have meet Cindra in 2015 through Dancing with the Stars. I was just beginning to work as a freelance designer in my spare time as her career was taking off and we began to work together.
Dr. Kamphoff is recognized nationally for her work and contributions to the field of performance psychology. As a leader, high performance coach, author, professor, and speaker, Dr. Kamphoff brings passion, energy, and authenticity to her work with athletes, performers, business people.

ANGELS OF BREAST CANCER
Logo and Marketing Design
The Angels of Breast Cancer (ABC) was established to provide emotional and financial support for women with breast cancer in Southern Minnesota. The Tutu Run (an annual event), is one of the main fundraisers that benefits this non-profit organization.
​
The logo I developed for this organization is one of my absolute favorites. The way all of the letters are touching one another reminds me of lending hands. The letter "A" also resembles an angel wing or a heart, whichever way you look at it. And of course, I love the way the breast cancer ribbon is part of the "b."
This logo design was definitely one of my most purposeful designs and the end result was a happy accident.
