Mankato Snapchat Filters
Two totally and completely "just for fun" projects that I decided to take on during my free time. When my first filter went live, it was thrilling watching the community use it.
A few months later, I decided to try making another one. This time around, my design got rejected. That, right there, added fuel to my fire to really push my design and try my best to get another one accepted!

Then my second filter, Kato, went live! I was skeptical about using the color pink, since it's not necessarily gender neutral. In the end, I just went with it because it was something that I personally loved, the pink paired with green, watermelon colors!

Mankato East/West Soccer
Poster Design
I have never been a soccer player (probably for the best!), but have had my fair share of time on the soccer bleachers cheering on the Mankato East boys and girls teams. This year, I was approached by a few soccer parents to create a design for the Pack the Stands event.
​
Pack the Stands is an annual soccer game with the rival schools, East and West Mankato and includes both Girls and Boys 9A, JV, and Varsity teams.
​
I love that even after being out of high school for years, I still get to be involved and give back.
Mankato West Orchesis

and clothing.

Mankato East Dance Company
Logo & Clothing Designs
My entire four years of high school were survived because of the Dance Company. It was the one part of the day that I really looked forward to because of the people, the creativity, and the environment.
This year, I was honored to be asked by the Mankato East Dance Company captains to could help design their logo, posters, programs, and clothing. One thing I wanted to try to do more of is giving back to the community.
After meeting with the captains, they decided on the colors purple and light blue for their theme "Dance the Night Away."
